All products in the webshop are from the series From paper to Porcelain, a series of articles for everyday use made in China porcelain. The porcelain is strong and fully useable, although it appears as light and fragile as paper.

The products are created using the very time-consuming slab building technique. All products are burned at high temperature, which makes them translucent. Where the porcelain is joined, contours appear, creating fine patterns.

The various products come in different sizes, in the colours white and some in pale turquoise. Most products can be stacked. The products often have various functions, e.g. the cups can be used as small bowls.

Please note that the colors you see on the screen may not be accurate as each monitor displays differently. Thank you for your understanding.

Each product is made by hand, which accounts for the small differences in size and colour, and which makes each product unique. All products are signed by Pia Baastrup.

The products in Porcelain is dishwasher proof, but I do not recommend it. The products in Clay and stoneware is not dishwasher proof.

The glaze does not contain harmful substances.
